Cheaper Pillow Pets

The holidays are coming soon!  Have you started your Christmas shopping yet?  What child wouldn't want a Pillow Pet?  You want an authentic one, but the price seems to add up with shipping.  Sure, you can order your Pillow Pet via the phone number on the TV commercial, $19.99 plus shipping.  OR you can buy one locally - many stores are selling them for $19.99...Walmart, BuyBuyBaby, even the Customer Service desk at the mall.  Buying locally saves you the shipping costs.

BUT before you buy one, check out your local wholsale club.  I just came back from BJ's Wholesale Club which has the same Pillow Pets for only $16.99!  As with any local store, selection is limited, so you may or may not find the one you're looking for, but it's worth the trip to find out.

As you're shopping, watch out for imitations (our mall kiosk sign says Pillow Pets, but the tags on the stuffed animals are something else) or stores trying to sell the smaller versions for the same price (I believe this is what Walgreens is doing).
